She's such a doll! I just loved meeting her on Sunday! :) Great pictures.
You have two beautiful children. I just and found and downloaded your recipe database program and am trying to figure out how to use it (I am not very familiar with Access). I want to be able to search the all recipes for a specific ingredient and come up with a list of recipes containing that ingredient. I tried using queries to bring up a list of recipes based containing a certain ingredient, like chicken, but it kept giving me a data type mismatch error. Apparently, in the RecipeIngredients table, the data type of the IngredientID a number, even though it appears as a word. Any thoughts?
Aria, So it turns out I'm not great at Access either, so the program I put together does have a few bugs in it, which I discovered the more I used it. Unfortunately I don't have an answer for you on the problem you're having.
I have since switched to using another recipe database called "Plan to Eat". It's an online program (plantoeat.com) that you can enter recipes into, search for recipes (like you said you were trying to search for chicken), and generate grocery lists based on your meal plan. This is blatant advertising for them, but I've been using their software for about a year and absolutely love it.
Love the family photos, especially grandparents and little ones. Lovely.
